Loudoun Triple Threat  is a basketball organization serving youth in Loudoun County and surrounding areas who are seeking to play basketball at a highly competitive level.  Our teams compete in AAU and YBOA tournaments at the local, state, regional and national levels.    We also seek to provide opportunities for other area teams to develop players by organizing competitive leagues and tournaments.

Fall Workouts and Leagues will be done mainly on Sundays. Please e-mail  lttcoach@ltthoops.org for information on Tryouts.
Cardinal Fall Season begins September 14th.
 
U15/9th Grade Fall Tryouts:
Players born after 9/1/93 OR 9 th graders born after 9/1/92
  • Sunday September 7th at National Conference Center 7:30pm – 9:30pm ( note location change)
  • Thursday September 11th at National Conference Center 6pm – 8pm
Thank you to Lucketts Fair Volunteers!
For the 2nd straight year, over 30 Loudoun Triple Threat players, parents and sibblings volunteered at the Lucketts Fair - driving golf carts, filling water stations, working the gate, golf carting to/from cars those needing assitance.  The players also helped with the Wacky Olympics, ran a shoot around activity, and competed with the Lucketts Volunteer Fire Department in a pie eating contest (pictures to be posted soon).  It was a great to spend time and help out a great fair - thank you to Julie and Steve Metz and other Lucketts Fair Organizers for this opportunity.

  • 3rd Consecultive Trip to YBOA/2nd Year finishing in Sweet 16
  • Sury Avasarala - Timed Free Throw Shooting Runner Up (Sean Rankin rebounder/passer)
  •   A.J. Metz - YBOA All Academic Indiviual Award
  •    Julie Metz - Ultimate Team Mom Award
  • All Academic Team Runners Up - 3.6 GPA
U10 Team Accomplishments:
  • 6th Place Finish in their first National Tournament
  •   All Academic Team Award - Team GPA 3.8 (all players GPA 3.3+)

    June 22nd U14 LTT- High Octane Tournament Runners Up - Frederick Md!

    June 15th U12 LTT-Attack Hoopdreams Academy Tournament Champs!
    Tournament MVP: Collin Verfurth
      U12 LTT Attack went undefeated in pool play with wins over the Nova Suns and Run & Gun.  They beat the Winchester Streaks by 15 points in the final.  Congratulations to players, coaches and parents.  The U12 Attack team over the past month has achieved a Tournament Championship, Spring League Championship, and Tournament Runners Up - well done!

    June 1st - Three Loudoun Triple Threat Teams Earn Division 1 YBOA Nationals Bid by making the Final Four of the State Tournament!
     
    June 1st-U10 LTT Gold - State Tournament Runners Up
    All Tournament Player - Bobby Wilden
    U10 Gold  Team went 3-0 to win their pool, won the Semi-Finals and then lost a heart breaker in the finals on a 3 point shot at the buzzer.  The team will head to Orlando July 26-Aug 2nd to compete in Nationals.  Congratulations to Kirk, Jon, players and parents on finishing 2nd in the State!
     
      June 1st - U13 LTT Gold - 3rd Place YBOA State Tournament
    All Tournament Player - Sury Avasarala 
    U13 Gold finish 3rd place in States with victories over the Rockets, Virginia Spartans and Nova Suns to earn their third consecutive YBOA Division 1 Nationals Bid (U13 Gold also earned 2nd consecutive AAU Division 2 National Bid).  The team will again head to Orlando July 26-Aug 2nd to try to improve on last year's 14th place finish.
     
    June 1st - 14 LTT - 4th Place YBOA State Tournament
    All Tournament Player - Ryan McCarter
    U14 LTT defeated the top seeded Magic Hoops and 4th seeded Va Warriors to finish 4th place and earn a YBOA Division 1 Nationals Bid.  This is a great accomplishment for the team, and especially for one that only recently formed in a higher age group. Congratulations to Jeff, Chuck, players & parents!
     
    Note: The 'Gold' team designation is earned by qualifying for and participating in a National Tournament.

    The U14 Team completed a 10-1 Spring Season with an exciting Championship victory over the Nova Suns.
              
    Loudoun Spring League Champions - LTT U12 Attack
    The U12 Attack Team completed a 8-1 Spring Season with a win over a tough Mercer team to take the Spring championship.
